An 803 cc V-twin OHV engine (26 HP at 3600 rpm) drives the deck through an electronic PTO clutch and belt system. The V-twin layout runs smoother and with less vibration than a single-cylinder of the same class, which reduces driver fatigue over long sessions. Three blades give a more even cut distribution across the full 54-inch deck than a two-blade layout of the same width.

The knob-controlled 15-gear lift moves the deck between 25 and 114 mm. Fuel capacity is 13.2 litres, forward speed 11.2 km/h and reverse 5.6 km/h. The machine weighs 318 kg and measures 2100 x 1500 x 1300 mm packed - still transportable on a standard car trailer with ramps.
